​Payments, Cancellation and Refunds Policy

  1. Learn Shona Limited, a company incorporated in the UK with a company number 15214055 (the “Company”) may without advance warning modify the prices to future unbooked lessons. These changes will not apply to existing bookings.

  2. You must book and confirm the payment at least 24 hours before your first lesson is to commence. If you book within 24 hours and no lesson is confirmed by the Company, note that the lesson may be moved or canceled without warning. Until payment has been received, no lesson is confirmed.

  3. Payments are made through our website via bank card, bank transfer, PayPal or invoice or as otherwise directed by the Company. Unless agreed in writing with the Company, no cash or cheque payments are allowed.

  4. If refunded is requested within 24 hours of payment, the Company may offer refund, at its discretion and processing fees will apply. After 24 hours from the time of booking, the Company cannot give any kind of refund, be it total or partial.

  5. Any changes or cancellations to lesson times should be done at least 24 hours prior to the lesson or you may incur a penalty. The Tutor or Company may reschedule your lesson at any time upon notification to you. A rescheduled time will be confirmed with you.

  6. Lessons rescheduled or canceled (or where you fail to turn up) with less than 24 hours’ notice will be billed to you at the usual lesson fee, or subtracted from your lesson package balance.

  7. If you regularly cancel or reschedule lessons, or if the Company perceives it as unreasonable, it could lead to termination of the contract.

  8. If you are late for a lesson, the Tutor may choose to, but is not obligated to work beyond the scheduled end time, and the lesson will be charged at the usual price, whether or not the Tutor works beyond the scheduled end time. 

  9. If a Tutor is late for a lesson or is unavailable, the lost time will be made up at a mutually convenient time agreed between you and Tutor.

  10. If you are on a monthly plan and wish to terminate the plan, you must inform us at least 30 days prior to the next plan payment date. A refund could take up to 30 days to process.

  11.  This policy is governed by English law and submits to jurisdiction of English courts. This policy may be amended and changed by the Company at any time without notice to you. By using our services, you accept these terms, as amended from time to time, in their entirety.
